My approach to learning design is grounded in a simple principle: effective learning should help people do something differently, more confidently or more effectively.

Before focusing on digital learning development, I spent years designing and managing professional education programmes, working with diverse stakeholders and translating complex subject matter into structured learning experiences.

My professional experience includes leadership of an arbitral institution, development of specialist training programmes and educational initiatives across multiple sectors.

I have contributed to learning and professional development initiatives reaching more than 2,000 participants across Africa.

Today, I bring that experience into digital learning design, combining performance-focused instructional design with interactive storytelling, visual learning, scenario-based practice and authentic assessment.

Start with performance.

I begin by identifying what learners need to understand, decide or do.

Make learning meaningful.

I use authentic situations, realistic decisions and relevant examples to connect learning with the world beyond the course.

Support the learner's journey.

I structure learning experiences that move from explanation and guided practice to independent application.

Design with intention.

I select tools and interactions because they support the learning objective—not simply because they are available.

Evaluate and improve.

I use assessment, feedback and reflection to make learning more purposeful and effective.
